About the brand
Jeva seems to be a new vegan and cruelty-free Indian brand. They have a variety of affordable face masks, waxing heater and wax, nose strips and other skincare products.
Product Description
Ingredients
Matcha Green Tea: It contains chlorophyll, a powerful detoxifier, that helps to remove harmful toxins and fight free radicals. Matcha is exceptionally good for oily, acne-prone skin due to its ability to control oil production.
Argan Oil has vitamin E and fatty acid which hydrates and softens the skin.
My Thoughts on Jeva Green Tea Face Pack
I bought this green tea face pack along with Jeva’s Charcoal face pack (Best suited for combination to oily skin) 5-6 months ago and have been alternating them with several other face masks that I have. But what really impressed me about this is its creamy texture, calming effect and the benefits of matcha green tea for the skin.

Packaging
The Jeva green tea face pack comes in a plastic tub and there’s no spatula provided with it. Either you dig your fingers inside or use your own spatula or even a small spoon to scoop the product out.
I do the latter because that’s hygienic! I wouldn’t call the container super sturdy but something you can definitely take with you while travelling, with some precautions.
Texture & Smell
The texture of the Jeva green tea face pack is very creamy and easy to spread. Once it dries, the face pack does not give that tight feeling nor starts to crack up.
The face pack has a mild, citrusy smell that is pretty similar to the charcoal face pack from the same brand. I don’t find the smell to be over-powering and can definitely work with it. However, it’d have been great if it had no smell at all.
How does it work?
I have very oily skin so I resorted to DIY clay masks to get that deep-cleansed feeling. But this Jeva green tea face pack completely changed my perspective.
It gives me the feeling of clear and clean skin, without drying it out. Post-washing my face feels moisturized and it brings a very healthy temporary glow and freshness to the skin. However, I don’t get the skin detox that I look for in face masks.
I’ve used this face pack in winters when my skin behaves like a dry-combination type with some dry patches on face. And it delivered equally good results.
Mind you, face packs aren’t a one-time treatment and I put them in my “nice-to-have” category. You can get away with cleansing, moisturising, SPF and exfoliation but having face packs once or twice a week helps to unwind and gives a better cleanse.

The jeva matcha green tea pack also contains Kaolin clay which is considered to be an all-rounder clay.
It doesn’t dry skin out while cleansing unlike Bentonite Clay and is also suitable for sensitive skin. This clay also boosts circulation which gives you brighter skin.
This face pack didn’t cause any breakouts or skin irritation during and post application. I have oily, sensitive and acne-prone skin.
Application
Doesn’t matter what mask I’m using, I make it a point to apply it in the evening. That way I don’t expose my recently clean faced to dirt, pollution and UV rays. So these are the steps I follow while using this or any other face pack and you should too:
- Wash face with your regular cleanser
- Pat your face with a towel to dry it. Just leave it slightly damp to make the application of face packs easier.
- Take the required quantity and apply a thin layer all over your face.
- Wash off after 10 minutes.
- Follow up with the rest of your skincare routine. And if you don’t have one, at least apply some moisturizer. I use the Aroma Magic Juniper Berry Moisturizer which is excellent for people with oily skin.
This is me in the Jeva Green Tea Face Pack in an embarrassing bathroom selfie. Unlike what Instagram shows you, this is how most people look when they have a mask on.
Conclusion of Jeva Green Tea Face Pack
This is an amazing mask from the drugstore that caters to almost every skin type. It makes your face look fresher and smoother, so save your money on face packs and invest it on actives. These are great to have when you’ve been consistent with your skincare routine but won’t give you a quick fix if you’ve been ignoring your skin for a while. I really like the Mamaearth C3 Face mask for that purpose, another nice drugstore option.

Thanks so much! Yes, I too love green tea but only in my skincare, lol. But definitely not the beverage.
