Today I’ll be reviewing Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit Lipstick that I have been wearing ALL THE TIME! It is in the shade Give Me Mocha and is my favourite MLBB (My lips but better) lipstick.
I scheduled this post a few weeks ago and forgot to edit the rough draft and it got uploaded. It was quite embarrassing and I was not ready to re-upload it but here we are! Also, I am extremely sorry if you were one of the people who had to read that.

Price: ₹ 499 for 6g
Availability: You can buy it from Nykaa.
MY THOUGHTS
This is the best liquid lipstick out of the very few that I have tried because of how comfortable it feels on my lips. I wouldn’t say it is completely non-drying because duh! It’s a liquid lipstick but thankfully it doesn’t dry out my lips.
Packaging
The wet n wild give me mocha lipstick has a doe foot curved applicator which makes it easier to apply in the inner corners of the lips as well. The tube is transparent so you get to see the quantity left and it’s actual colour (easy to recognise the shade from your stash). The top is black and it shuts tight with a click so there is no leakage.

The applicator wand is long enough for you to give a precise application and the entire lipstick tube is mid-sized but not-so-sleek. Can be easily carried in a bag as it requires very less space.
Texture
The lipstick is very liquidy and runny, so it’s very easy to apply it. No need for tugging or pulling. After application, it sets to a matte finish in a few seconds and doesn’t budge. You won’t see any drying out or cracking of lips, neither would it look like the Sahara Desert (Trust me, some liquid lipsticks do that!)

Application & Staying Power
It applies so beautifully and dries soon and sets to a perfect matte finish. It stays on my lips for a good 6-7 hours with light meals but disappears from the centre of the lips after having a heavy meal which isn’t a con for me, the case is same with every other lipstick.
If you have dry chapped lips, I recommend gently scrubbing your lips regularly otherwise it will look patchy and crumbly. Also, using a lip balm underneath is a good idea.
The lipstick does start to settle into lines at the end of the day.

Pigmentation & Shade
This drugstore treasure is super pigmented and one layer is enough to give an opaque finish. It covers deeply pigmented lips as well. Being such a light nude shade, I love how beautifully pigmented it is.
The shade is a beautiful nude brown with slightly pinkish tones to it which would look compliment all skin tones. It comes off a little dark on fair skin tones, MLBB nude-brown shade on medium-tanned skin tones and perfect nude shade for deeper ones.

Guest Appearance: My faded henna!
It goes off completely with makeup remover or oil, whichever you use to get rid of your makeup but won’t go off just by using the regular rose water or face cleanser.
This lipstick is completely vegan and but not cruelty-free!
Conclusion
It’s very important to use a liquid lipstick with a good texture, I see people’s lip literally peeling off and it’s not a pleasant sight. I have been wearing this everywhere I go since the day I got it (August 2017!) and completely in love with its texture and colour. It’s one of the best drugstore treasures I have discovered.
I can’t think of any negative point and I think this is a must-have. Also, I’ve finished it and will be repurchasing it soon. This would be my first time repurchasing the same shade!
What’s your favourite nude lipstick?

Oooh this looks like a great nude lippie. I do like the nyx lingerie in seduction, but I’m currently trying to find a new lippie that can be a staple. Good thing I came across your blog post!

Thank god I’m not alone! It was the first time I scheduled a post, I think I won’t be doing that from now unless the post is complete.
It was a nice lipstick to use, give it a try some day. 🙂

This is such a detailed post in which you covered every point. Loved the lipstick shade❤❤. I also really feel bad when someone applied liquid lipstick and their lips are peeling.

Thank you so much! ❤️ It feels so good to hear from you 🙂 Lol, the mere sight of peeling lips! And the audacity to reapply it during touchups over those peeled lipstick ??
