Hello there! Qurez sent me some of their amazing cruelty-free products from their skincare range around 2-3 weeks ago to review. I replaced my current skincare routine with these products and have been using them consistently since then. Let’s go through the review of each to know which of these products do I recommend the most.
First of all, let’s take a moment to appreciate the beautiful packaging it came in. The box is so sturdy, I’m definitely going to use this to store my makeup.

Inside the box came these products:
- Qurez Activated Charcoal Scrub Mask
- Qurez Aloe Vera and Cucumber Mist Toner Spray
- Qurez Mattifying Sunscreen SPF50
About the brand
Qurez is a newly launched Indian brand which released their Phase 1 of skincare that includes the above-mentioned products. All the products are natural, 100% Vegan, paraben free, phthalate free and sulfate free. They’re also cruelty-free.
Availability: You can buy them from Amazon
With the actual price, I’m also attaching their sale price (I’m only adding the lowest I’ve seen it go so you get a rough idea.)
1. Qurez Activated Charcoal Scrub Mask
Price: ₹659 for 100g
Sale Price: ₹399
Activated Charcoal is quite in trend these days and it helps to get rid of all the dirt and impurities from the skin. The mask also has tea tree oil which helps with acne and Vitamin C & E that makes skin plump and moisturizes it, respectively.

This face mask has a gritty texture and you’re supposed to massage it when it dries to scrub dead skin cells away. I massage my nose very lightly, that’s where I have blackheads and whiteheads, and it makes that area so smooth after washing. My skin is very sensitive to physical exfoliants as they break me out so I don’t massage my entire face.
I apply this charcoal face mask twice or thrice a week after cleansing my face, leave it on for 10 minutes and wash off. It leaves my congested skin really clean and moisturized. It doesn’t cause any dryness at all so it might be good for people with dry skin as well.

I’ve gotten used to its strong citrusy smell now but it did bother me a lot initially. So if you’re someone who can’t tolerate strong fragrances due to health reasons or it just bothers you, it’s not an ideal choice.
2. Qurez Aloe Vera and Cucumber Mist Toner Spray
Price: ₹260 for 50ml
Sale Price: ₹149
This mist comes in a small spray bottle which is quite travel-friendly. The spray is not at all messy and sprays products evenly. You don’t need a lot, just 2 sprays and you’re good to go.
The mist is very hydrating and my oily skin can happily skip a moisturizer. It says it can be used as a body mist as well but I haven’t so can’t comment on that. A common problem that I encounter with most drugstore face mist is that it sits on the face forming a layer and this mist from Qurez is no different, sadly.

It is enriched with such great ingredients but I can’t smell any of those, instead, it has a strong car-perfume-like smell. I wish it had no fragrance at all or at least had a mild natural smell.
A heads up would be to not let it come on your lips because when you randomly lick your lips, you get a really bitter taste! (Speaking from personal experience because I go a bit extra with sprays)
3. Qurez Mattifying Sunscreen SPF 50
Price: ₹450 for 50 ml
Sale Price: ₹339
The Qurez sunscreen with SPF 50 comes in a small pump dispenser which is excellent for travelling. It has the mildest smell amongst the lot and is white in colour.

I take around two pumps for my face and it sets to a satin-matte finish on my oily skin. It doesn’t have drying kind of matte effect so it can be used by people of all kinds of skin type. This is one of the most comfortable mineral sunscreens formula I’ve tried and it gives minimal white cast.
Also, it doesn’t feel like something is resting on your face and is water-resistant. It doesn’t wear off when you sweat (I’m in Chennai, you sweat on windy days too!). So lesser re-applications!

CONCLUSION
For me, the Activated Charcoal Scrub Mask is the hero amongst the lot and the sunscreen is also a pretty decent and affordable option especially for people with combination or oily skin.
I like the hydrating effects of face mist but its fragrance is something I don’t enjoy. The products are really good and affordable. It’s so good to see so many Indian brands coming up with vegan, cruelty-free options!
