The sun is finally starting to show up and the season of renewal and joy, Spring, is back. It’s the perfect time to re-do your space and “spring clean” your house but it’s possible that your makeup routine needs an upgrade too.
Some colours and formulations that work great for winters might not give you the best results in hotter weather. So today I’ll be sharing some of my must-have drugstore makeup products that you should try for spring.
We’re not doing big changes. In fact, I’m reusing some of the makeup products like eyeliners but I’ll be introducing brighter colours and lighter base this spring.
These vibrant shades will compliment your outfit and mood and will help you achieve the best spring makeup look!
I strongly believe that you can find great makeup products at the drugstore if you have an eye for it. So in this post, I have compiled all the best drugstore makeup products that you need to try this spring. Because redoing your spring makeup stash doesn’t need to be expensive!
As usual, it’s all cruelty-free!
Drugstore Spring Makeup
CONCEALER
In warmer weather, I don’t enjoy a heavy foundation or should I say any foundation at all. If you have oily skin you can probably understand what I mean!
The best way to avoid your makeup from melting is to not wear a lot of makeup. Am I right? So for my base makeup, I tend to go just for concealers.

Colourpop No Filter Concealer
Price: $7
My all-time favourite concealer from the drugstore has to be the Colourpop No Filter Concealer that covers redness, dark circles and uneven skin tone. The best part? It doesn’t even feel heavy!
I’ve been outdoors all day with just this concealer on and it has never disappointed me!
I have brown skin and my dark circles are pretty deep, this concealer takes care of everything. For reference, my no filter concealer shade is Medium Dark 32 and my MAC studio fix shade is NC 42!
This No Filter Concealer covers major imperfections in just a few dots and gives a very natural finish.
Often times when I just use concealer, some parts of my face look highlighted while the rest look dull and *bleh* so for that I make sure:
- I’m using the exact shade, not lighter.
- I take the leftover product on the brush/ sponge and stipple it on the rest of my face to get a more even-toned look.
POWDER
With spring comes shine and we all need a good powder to set our face and control some oil. Since I have oily skin, powders are my favourites and I have quite a few recommendations in this segment.

RCMA No Color Powder
Price: $12
The OG setting powder that blurs out everything and gives an even-toned skin. It’s not overly matte and would suit all skin types.
The major downside is the packaging but if you have an empty powder container you can transfer the product. It does give flashback so don’t wear it to evening events where you know there might be flash photography.
Sugar As Nude As It Gets Pressed Powder
Price: INR 699
I love this powder! It’s great for setting your face, to even out the complexion and for quick touch-ups. The packaging is sturdy and comes with a mirror and sponge.
The coverage is sheer, the texture isn’t powdery and you won’t get a cakey or overly mattifying finish.
ELF Undereye Brightening Powder
Price: $4
This undereye setting powder comes in a tiny jar and has a fine, silky texture. It blurs out the minor fine lines and brightens the undereye area.

BRONZER
The perfect spring glow is not possible without a bronzer! It’s a must-have spring makeup product (and summer too) as it gives the right amount of warmth and glow to your face.
Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer
Price: $15 (INR 1200)
If I could recommend just one bronzer to you, it has to be the Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer that gives the right warmth and doesn’t look orange on me. I use the shade ‘Deep Bronzer’. It smells delicious and has a silky soft formula with the most beautiful sheen!
BLUSH
Spring is the perfect time for blushes so bring out your bright pinks and peaches! I have two favourites, a matte one from Flower Beauty and another with a sheen with Physicians Formula.
Flower Beauty Flower Pot – Wild Rose
Price: $10 (INR 750)
A cool-toned pink that people with cooler undertones will instantly fall in love it! But the shade Wild Rose looks great on my warm skin too when I use it with a light hand. It gives fresh-looking cheeks and has a matte finish.
Physicians Formula Vintage Rouge
Price: $13.49 (INR 1050)
This butter blush in the shade ‘Vintage Rouge’ is a medium-dark peach with warm undertones and has a subtle sheen. It has medium coverage which is buildable and the texture is velvety and soft.
Both the blushes have a soft and smooth formula that applies without any patchiness. They’re buildable and have one of the best qualities when it comes to drugstore makeup.
EYESHADOW

Colourpop Yes Please Eyeshadow Palette
Price: $18
This was my first Colourpop eyeshadow palette and it’s still my go-to! It’s got a lot of reds, oranges and yellows that make it perfect for spring.
Surprisingly, this palette is versatile enough to create looks for fall too! It’s an every season palette and you should definitely give it a try.

Juvia’s Place Warrior 3 Palette
Price: $20
This beautiful palette from Juvia’s Place is packed with pigmented and vibrant colours. You get the hottest pinks and the iciest blues to create fresh and bright eye makeup looks. The colours are pigmented, easy-to-blend and the palette doesn’t cost a fortune!
EYELINER
My favourite eyeliner types are liquids! But when it comes to other colours, I tend to go for pencil liners. I love a good wing and eyeliners really give my small almond eyes a beautiful shape!
NYX Matte Liquid Eyeliner
Price: $7.50 (INR 650)
If you want a no-smudge, long-lasting liquid eyeliner then you have to give this NYX one a shot. It’s black, matte and can survive all the sweat and oils. I’m on my second bottle and trust me I don’t repurchase makeup that often.
Colourpop Creme Gel Liners
Price: $6
A black eyeliner might be too harsh during the warmer weather especially for people with lighter skin tone. That’s why I’d recommend you to try a brown eyeliner for a softer eye look.
Colourpop Creme Liner is one of the smoothest and highly pigmented pencil eyeliner that stays ALL DAY!
While you’re at it, explore some other colours from the range too. Spring makeup is all about playing with colours that bring joy and happiness!

EYEBROWS
Eyebrows frame your face and it’s something I can’t do without. Partly because I have got some scars on one of my brows from an accident I had when I was 5 and they need to be filled!!
I tend to go for natural-looking brows that are definitely not “Instagrammable”.
Both the products are what I use during all seasons and it makes an entry to my spring makeup must-haves list too. As I said, you don’t necessarily have to buy everything new each season.
Colourpop Precision Brow Pencil
Price: $6
I use the shade Black N’ Brown of the Colourpop Precision Brow Pencil. It has a spoolie on one end and a micro-tip on another that gives a precise application.
Doesn’t matter whether you’re a beginner or a pro, this brow pencil helps to draw and fill the brows easily and quickly. You can read a detailed review of the precision brow pencil with swatches.
NYX Tinted Brow Mascara
Price: $7.50 (INR 600)
This is a must-have brow mascara in my makeup stash. It tints my brows, makes them appear fuller and sets them in place. It doesn’t flake off or get scratchy and I literally need 10 seconds to do my brows when I use this.
My shade is ‘Black’ and you can read a detailed review here.
When I’m going for a more polished look, I tend to use both the pencil and brow mascara, this combination gives me the brows of my dreams.
MASCARA
Essence Lash Princess Mascara
Price: $4.99
The Essence Lash Princess Mascara is my all-time favourite mascara. It lengthens, gives volume and curls the lashes that stay the same all day. They now have a waterproof formula too!
LIPSTICKS

Flower Beauty Liquid Lipstick – Rosewood
Price: $9 (INR 825)
If you’re looking for a perfect neutral liquid lipstick that stays all day and is comfortable to wear, Rosewood from Flower Beauty is a must-have makeup!
It’s the perfect shade for women who don’t like to wear bright colours or for those who go to the office and need something more toned down and natural.
Faces Belle De Luxe Lipstick – Victorian Mauve
Price: INR 899
Faces is an Indian brand and the shade Victorian Mauve is THE perfect mauve that everyone needs in their life!
I am obsessed with this shade and it’s so comfortable and long-lasting that I don’t feel like wearing any other shade.
If you’re someone who’s not as girly to go for a baby pink or as loud to get the brightest purple, mauve is what you should get.
LIP GLOSSES
Dewy skin & juicy lips are not just a spring trend, they’re going to be in for the entire year. So investing in some of the glossiest glosses should be your number one makeup goal this spring & summer.
NYX Butter Gloss – Tiramisu
Price: $5 (INR 550)
Personally, I find the NYX butter glosses to be very heavy and thick but that’s what gives this the glossiness it’s known for. Even when you take just a little, your lips will shine and look plump.
The shade Tiramisu is a perfect nude that looks great on its own and can be used as a lip toppers too! Just note that they’re not opaque.
PAC Lip Gloss – 12
Price: INR 450
This is my favourite!! PAC is an Indian makeup brand and if you’re not from India but have plans to visit the country anytime soon, make sure you add this to your shopping list.
The gloss is opaque, it’s not too heavy on the lips & gives a beautiful shine. The shade number 12 is a deep nude with brick undertones that will look great on every skin colour!
Conclusion
That’s all for my must-have spring makeup products to achieve that fresh, dewy skin that can breathe in the warmer weather. Which one are your favourites? Try out the ones that catch your attention and rock some bright colours in this joyous weather!
