Hello there! I am back with a new monthly empties post after 2 months (I didn’t finish anything in that time period!) This month I went through a good amount of stuff and covered a wide category of products that cost a total of ₹2769 ($40).
Before starting, I want to ask WHY IS TIME FLYING SO FAST? I’ll be 22 on December 5 and I’m excited because I can finally sing Taylor Swift’s 22 for myself but I am not liking this entire growing up stuff that’s been happening. Phew! Let’s move ahead.
I’ve categorised the empties into hair, body, face and lips so scroll down to your favourite or better read the entire post and watch me Review my Trash.
Monthly Empties – HAIR
1. Mirah Belle Lemongrass-Ylang Ylang Conditioner
Price: ₹384 for 100ml
I got this for 100 bucks during their sale and it was a decent conditioner that didn’t weigh my hair down. However, I disliked how it smelled and the cheap and unhygienic tub packaging.
Would I Repurchase? No.
Monthly Empties – BODY
For body, I have 2 products from Nivea. I absolutely love them both, however, I won’t be repurchasing them.
2. Nivea Deodorant Roll-On
Price: ₹185 for 50ml
I am a fan of roll-on deodorant because aerosol sprays give me a headache. I have been using this for years and already have a backup. It makes me sweat-free for the entire day no matter how bad the weather gets and it’s super affordable.
Would I repurchase? I recently got to know that Nivea is not cruelty-free so I won’t be repurchasing it after I go through my backup.

3. Nivea Aloe Hydration Body Lotion
Price: ₹210 for 200ml
I have been using their body care for the longest time. This aloe-based lotion is so lightweight and great for the humid weather I am living in. Gets absorbed quickly and doesn’t cost a fortune.
I have a lot of Nivea body lotion backups I bought during a sale some time ago; different variants, of course!
Would I repurchase? No, because they’re not cruelty-free. Planning to go through my Nivea collection soon.
I have reviewed it in detail HERE.
Monthly Empties – FACE
4. Kara Cleansing & Hydrating Wipes – Neem and Tea Tree Oil
Price: ₹110 for 30 wipes
It cleaned my face very well and removed moderate makeup too but there was a slight stinging around my mouth for the first few minutes. (My skin can be weirdly sensitive sometimes!)
Wipes the face clean without leaving a residue. The fragrance isn’t very mild but something I could work with. It claims to control acne but I use wet wipes occasionally so can’t comment on that. However, it didn’t break me out.
Also, wet wipes aren’t very eco-friendly so I try to use them only when I can’t use a wash-off cleanser.
Would I repurchase? I might when I have to travel.

5. Lotus Herbals Basiltone & Cucumber Toner
Price: ₹285 for 100ml
I got this toner a while ago but misplaced it during my recent “moving-cities-saga”. There wasn’t a ton left. I sprayed it on my cleansed face. It gives proper hydration and a nice matte finish to the skin. Also, smells refreshing.
I have reviewed it in detail HERE.
Would I repurchase? Someday in future.
6. The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil
Price: ₹1095 for 20ml
I have had this tea tree oil since forever. It’s slightly expensive in India and I have found a better dupe of this which is way cheaper. I’ll be reviewing it soon so subscribe in case you don’t want to miss it.
Coming to the product, it did help with acne but the packaging is annoying. It should come with a dropper. The smell is very strong, not something I liked at all. The product lasted me a very long time.
Would I repurchase? No.
Monthly Empties – LIPS
For lip products, I finished up a lip balm and a lipstick sample.

7. Soultree lipstick in Coral Pink
Price: NA
This was a free sample I got from Smytten a while ago. The cute little bullet has my heart but the lipstick, itself, doesn’t. The shade name is Coral Pink and it’s a very pale peach colour.
Why I don’t like it? It has shimmers and the colour washes me out. It settles into the lines of my lips but being a shimmery lipstick, the texture is not gritty (Big Plus!) This might suit people with lighter skin.

I’m currently liking pale-pink/peach Meghan Markle-esque shades on me but this one was a bummer.
Would I repurchase? No.
8. Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm with Vitamin E & Peppermint
Price: ₹500 (approx. I can’t find it on Sephora’s website to get exact price)
Burt’s Bees has to be at the top when it comes to lip balms for me. I loved this Peppermint & Vitamin E based balm, it was very moisturizing and kept my lips hydrated for a long time. I didn’t feel the need to reapply unless I have eaten something and completely wiped it off.
As you can see, I have completely scraped out all the product from the tube. It lasted me a year and I have a backup of it.
Would I repurchase? Will try other flavours in future.
CONCLUSION
That’s all I have for my Monthly Empties of November. The total does come out to be around 3000 bucks but I’m pretty confident I’d paid around ₹500–1000 less for all the products because I tend to stock up skincare during sales.
Nothing is more joyous for me than seeing empty bottles and if you love them too, you can check another one HERE. And for my blogger friends, send me your empties post in the comments below!

It’s a shame about that Tea Tree Oil from The Body Shop as you definitely get your moneys worth from it! I like how you total up the cost of everything you’ve used up at the end – I may have to start doing that

Thanks hun! Calculating the empties amount gives an insight on how much you’re able to use up. In my case, the monthly amount I spend on makeup/skincare is always less than what I use up. It’s a crazy eye opener.

Interesting to read about your empties. I love Nivea products and use them all the time.

They’ve become a staple in my stash too. Really disappointed that they’re not cruelty-free.

Yesss, I LOVE empties posts! It’s always so interesting to see what other people have loved (or didn’t love) throughout the month. They’re some of my favorites to write as well. Gotta agree with you on the Burt’s Bees lip balms! They’re some of my favorites.

Thanks so much love! I love the feeling of seeing empty containers. It’s so satisfactory to finally use up a product.
Yes, the burt’s bees balms are truly amazing. Would try out other flavours too!
